Food tastes great. Portions are large. Actually more than males up for non existent service and shabby ambience. A must visit if you are going towards Ayodhya.

Yadav Hotel (Rabdi, Rasmalai) in Bhelsar along the Gorakhpur–Lucknow highway—highlighting its casual roadside ambiance, outdoor seating, and glimpses of the crowd and sweets that make it a noteworthy stop. Situated on both sides of the highway, you can stop while going to Ayodhya. Its two signature items—Rabdi and Rasmalai—are particularly celebrated. The Rabdi is creamy and indulgent, while the Rasmalai features soft cheese discs soaked in rich, saffron-infused milk. Beyond the sweets, you’ll find a selection of savory snacks like samosas, pakoras, chaat, and koftas, all paired well with their freshly brewed chai. If you’re traversing that highway or happen to be nearby, it’s absolutely worth making a brief stop—for that warm chai, the indulgent sweets, and a bite of regional food culture that’s hard to match.

⭐ Yadav Hotel – The Roadside Delight on the Way to Lucknow! Tucked along the highway leading to Lucknow, Yadav Hotel is one of those classic roadside gems that every traveler remembers. Famous for its crispy tikki, hot jalebis dripping with syrup, rich, creamy rabdi, and that perfectly brewed desi chai, this spot is a treat for anyone passing by. The place has that old-school dhaba vibe — simple benches, cheerful chatter, and the comforting aroma of fried snacks and tea wafting through the air. It’s not fancy, but it’s full of warmth and authentic roadside flavor. Must-try: Rabdi–Jalebi combo & Masala Chai Location: On the Lucknow highway – an ideal stop for travelers ⭐ Rating: (5/5) – A taste of true highway hospitality!

This is a decent roadside dhaba, famous for its garam ras malai. Made from pure milk, they have their own dairy(as claimed). People are crazy for ras malai here. Adding lots of pictures so that you can visit original yadav dhaba as there are many yadav dhabas here

Yadav Hotel - A Must-Stop for Sweet Lovers on the Highway! I recently stopped at Yadav Hotel while traveling from Ayodhya back to Lucknow, and it turned out to be a delightful pitstop! Located right near Lohia Pool in Rudauli, Ayodhya, on the Lucknow-Ayodhya Highway, this place is easy to spot and perfect for a quick refreshment break. What makes Yadav Hotel stand out is their famous Rasmalai and Rabri – absolute stars of the menu! The Rasmalai is their USP: incredibly light, fresh, and bursting with subtle sweetness that melts in your mouth. It’s not overly heavy like some versions I’ve had elsewhere, and the freshness is evident in every bite. The Rabri is equally impressive – creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced without being too cloying. If you’re a fan of traditional Indian sweets, these are must-tries. Don’t stop there, though! I also sampled their samosa, which was crispy and flavorful, paired perfectly with a hot cup of chai. The pakodi was fresh and crunchy, and the dahi added a nice tangy contrast to the sweets. Everything felt homemade and authentic, with generous portions at reasonable prices. The setup is practical too – there’s ample parking space for cars, and proper seating areas both inside and outside, making it comfortable even for families or groups. Service was quick and friendly, despite it being a busy highway spot. Highly recommended, especially if you’re on the road between Lucknow and Ayodhya. Skip the usual roadside stalls and head here for the Rasmalai and Rabri – you won’t regret it! 5/5 stars.
